Improve your cycling fitness and performance and train like a pro at Fleet Feet J Street. Fleet Feet Sports has partnered with Max Testa Training to host indoor cycling classes where participants ride their own bikes and utilize supplied CompuTrainers.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Max Testa's indoor program includes 6-week blocks of training with two 90-minute workouts per week held at Fleet Feet J Street. During each class, an instructor will guide the participants through a training program based on 5 power ranges. Each participant will train on their own bike which is hooked up to a CompuTrainer, and refer to their individual power zone recommendations retrieved from their individual fitness profile.
HOW DO I GET MY INDIVIDUAL FITNESS PROFILE?
Each participant is required to perform a lactate threshold test to determine their individual power zones. This test is mandatory to begin the program. Lactate tests are conducted by Max Testa Training's, Judd Van Sickle, M.S., and will be hosted at Fleet Feet J Street.
One lactate test is required to begin training. Follow up tests to asses changes in fitness and fine tune your power zones are optional. We recommend re-testing every 12 weeks (2 sessions) to maximize your fitness gains. The cost of the lactate test is $150.
